OLYMPIC PARKS & PILLOW FIGHTS

As my time is coming to a close in London it is important to make everyday count and today was no exception. Tiffany and I woke up early this morning to check out Queen Elizabeth’s Olympic Park, it took us forever to get there but when we finally did it was worth it. Tiffany and I have come to realize and enjoy that some of our best stories come from the journey rather than the destination (this is another to add to that list).

From the Olympic Park we headed to Trafalgar Square because today (April 5th, 2014) was International Pillow Fight Day! Trafalgar square was packed with people and their pillows, feathers flying everywhere. It was the biggest pillow fight I have and probably will ever witness (it made carrying my pillow around all day worth it). It was fun to be able to walk through a crowd and not only allowed to hit into people but encouraged to nail them with your pillow (my kind of scene). It was unlike anything I have ever experienced and I know I’m gonna be finding feathers all over my room for days to come.
